POSTUMUS Couture is a line of beautiful clothing "re-made" with recycled clothing and fabrics. Each is a unique one-of-a-kind piece.

We believe in recycling, in using what we have now or yesteryear instead of what's new - in order to help our invironment and support a "green" future.

At Postumus, we collect NEW, GENTLY USED or NEW OLD STOCK second hand clothing, used clothing, new clothing that is no longer in season, old materials, fabrics, notions, and accessories and create new fashion trends.  We re-design and reconstruct. Our stock of raw materials include vintage clothing in excellent condition, new old stock with or without tags; new or excellent second-hand clothing, old store stock, fabric warehouse disconstinued or discarded stock; our own personal fabric collection since we were 9 years old, and great finds at garage sales, auctions, estate sales, thrift stores, swap-meets and grandma's closets.

If we did not recycle - a lot of these items would have been dumped in landfills that would otherwise take hundreds of years to bio-degrade or not at all.

We are proud to be part of the change in the world with our recycled clothing line.
